Introduction

The Old Parlour is located in a small hamlet of Norton on a working farm within the South Downs National Park. The cottage is perfect for people who enjoy walking as footpaths lead to South Downs Way.
The property comprises of a double and twin room (with bunk beds) sleeping 4 people.
This cottages is suitable for wheelchair bound people.

  • The nearest railway station is Bishopstone located 1.6 miles from the cottage there is not a taxi rank located at this station. The nearest station with a taxi rank is Seaford which is located about 2.6 miles from the cottage.
  • The nearest bus stop is 'Bishopstone Road' located 1.3 miles from the cottage The buses 12 and 12a stop at 'Bishopstone Road' and Run about every 10 minutes visit http://www.buses.co.uk/ for more information.
  • The Cottage is located on a country lane with no footpaths on the country road.

  • The keys to the property are located in a key safe. The key safe number is provided with your information packs along with directions.
  • There are car parking facilities for 2 cars
Entrance to Property

  • The entrance to the property is up a small slope, there are no steps to access the property.
Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passageways

  • Once you enter the property the bathroom is directly on the left, the kitchen is in front of you, the lounge is up a small slope. The double and twin bedrooms come off of the lounge.
  • There are no stairs within the property.
Sitting Room/Lounge

  • The lounge has a 3 seat and 2 seat sofa
  • There is a television with Free Sat box and DVD player connected.
  • There are 2 windows and 2 doors providing natural light though out the day with 2 over head lights and 2 lamps for the evening. all windows and doors in this room have blinds.
  • You can access the back garden through the lounge via a small step or from the front door you can walk around.
Dining Room

  • the dining area is located in the lounge with 1 table and 4 chairs
Kitchen

  • The kitchen has Vinyl flooring.
  • Cutlery, utensils, glasses, crockery etc. are all supplied within the kitchen please see our inventory for a full list.
  • The kitchen consists of a cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box, toaster and kettle.
Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas

  • There are 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin room
  • In the twin room there is a metal framed bunk bed, chest of draws, mirror, and lamps.
  • In the double room there is one double metal framed bed, wardrobe, chair, 2 bedside tables and a mirror.
  • All bed lien is supplied
Bathrooms, Shower-rooms and Toilets

  • The bathroom/ WC has non-slip floor coating.
  • The bathroom is a wet room so only has a shower (no bath).
  • 1 sink with mirror.
  • A toilet roll is provided on arrival.
Garden

  • There is a large grass garden with a small patio.
  • On the driveway is a dustbin.
  • Garden furniture is supplied in the summer months.
