The Old Parlour
The Old Parlour at Norton Farm is a small bungalow with wheelchair access situated in a hamlet called Norton, East Sussex. We are nicely tucked away from the busy world whilst still being close enough to the shops and seaside, which are about 2 miles away. Norton is conveniently situated for Walkers who want to explore the South Downs. We are roughly a 2 mile walk via footpaths to the South Downs Way.
The living room has views of the fields and offers a large open space perfect for having friends or family over if you're here visiting them. There is a TV/DVD player, plus many books on the Shelf to choose from. Don't worry if you haven't got time to finish reading, please feel free to take the book with you. Under the TV you will find a box of leaflets with local places to explore. There is a box of Toys under the bed for our younger guests. The living room also has a double sofa bed offering an extra space for sleeping.
The kitchen is a big area with a dining area for all the family to sit around. All the cooking essentials are there for you. Including a fan oven, electric hob, microwave, a small fridge with icebox and a washing machine. A highchair is available on request.
The Parlour has a full wet room with shower toilet and washbasin.
Heating is supplied by underfloor pipes from a ground source heat pump throughout the Property.
The Parlour has two bedrooms, a double room with wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables. A single room with one single bed, a dressing table and bedside table. All the beds are made up for guests’ arrival with fresh white sheets and towels for each guest. We have a travel cot avalible upon request, which can be placed in either room.
The Parlour has a large garden area including a small patio and picnic bench where you can enjoy the sun while overlooking the fields. Sometimes the fields will be occupied by cows or sheep depending on the time of year. At the back of the property there is a rotary washing line.
There is parking right outside the front door and there is space for up to 3 cars to park.
There is Wi-Fi access throughout the property.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Norton Farm, please keep them under close control as we are a busy working Farm.
Farm tours are usually available on request, depending on the weather and staff availability.
